According to a report by Vijayavani, the Lions Club of Piriyapatna recently hosted an inauguration ceremony at the Manjunatha Community Hall to mark the induction of new office bearers. T.V. Anil Kumar, the district chief coordinator for the Lions Club, attended the event and praised the organization for its ongoing commitment to community service and fostering social bonds, noting that the club has a proven track record of assisting those in need.

During the proceedings, Zonal President Puttappa emphasized that the induction ceremony represents a commitment to social responsibility rather than merely the acquisition of titles or badges. He encouraged the new leadership to focus on impactful service to enhance the reputation of the club within the region. The event also featured a charitable contribution of 15,000 rupees to a local family to assist with the costs of obtaining an electrical connection.

Following the speeches, the new office bearers were officially sworn in, including Subramanya, Manjunath Singh, P.K. Kumar, Anand, Swami, Navaneeth, Doddegowda, and Lavakumar. District regional president Balakrishna and club president P.K. Vijayakumar were also present to address the gathering and outline the club's objectives for the upcoming term.
