According to Dharitri, a memorial service was held on Saturday at the Meru Mandap in Rohi village, located near Digapahandi in the Ganjam district of Odisha. The event marked the first death anniversary of Radharani Jena, a former Sarpanch of the Rohi Gram Panchayat, who was remembered for her contributions to the community and her role as a social activist.

The memorial service was jointly coordinated by social worker K. Manibabu and the late Sarpanch's sons, Bashistha Jena and Narayan Jena. Attendees at the gathering included local officials and community members, such as Kukudakhandi Block Vice-Chairperson Bishnupriya Patra and Udaynath Behera, who gathered to pay tribute to Jena's legacy and public service.
