According to Asomiya Pratidin, Pranati Baruah, a resident of K.K.B. Road in the Chenikuthi area of Guwahati, passed away on July 31, 2026. She was the wife of Kalindra Kumar Baruah and the daughter-in-law of the late freedom fighter Satish Chandra Baruah. Born in Jorhat, she was an alumna of DCB College and had served in the Assam government's Sericulture Department from 1979 to 1985.
