The groom, identified as Babloo Maurya, reportedly died after being bitten by a snake while sleeping in his bedroom following the wedding ceremonies.

Family members discovered the groom in distress and rushed him to the Government Medical College in Budaun. Despite efforts by medical staff to provide emergency treatment, he was declared dead upon arrival.
