According to the Odia-language news outlet Dharitri, a 19-year-old migrant worker from the Daringbadi block of Kandhamal district, Odisha, has died while working in Hyderabad. The deceased, identified as Simanchal Nayak from Mandipanka village in the Gadapur panchayat, had reportedly migrated to the city to work in a hotel due to a lack of local employment opportunities.

Reports indicate that Nayak had been suffering from health issues for several days prior to his death. His colleagues, who were living with him in Hyderabad, attempted to seek medical assistance for him before his condition deteriorated. This incident has sparked concern among local residents in Daringbadi regarding the safety and well-being of migrant workers from the region who travel to other states in search of labor.

Local authorities and community members have expressed anxiety over the trend of youth leaving the district for employment, noting that this is the second such death of a migrant worker from the area within a single week.
