According to a report by TV9 Bharatvarsh, authorities in Indore have uncovered a criminal syndicate involved in a systematic marriage fraud scheme. The gang allegedly facilitated marriages for minor girls by falsely presenting them as adults, only to orchestrate a separation after a period of two to three months.

Investigators state that the group operated with a high level of coordination. Once a marriage was dissolved, the gang would reportedly arrange for the same girl to be married to a different individual, allowing them to repeatedly extort money from unsuspecting families under the guise of marriage expenses and dowry-related settlements.

Local law enforcement is currently investigating the extent of the operation and the number of individuals involved in the racket. The case highlights ongoing concerns regarding human trafficking and fraudulent practices targeting vulnerable individuals in the region.
