Commerce Day: ଆଇସିଏମ୍‌ଏଆଇରେ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ଦିବସ

The Bhubaneswar branch of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) recently hosted a celebration for International Commerce Day at its Nayapalli facility. The event focused on the theme 'Commerce of the Sustainable Future: Empowering Tomorrow’s Cost and Management Accountants,' highlighting the evolving role of financial professionals in a sustainable global economy.

Soumya Ranjan Pattnaik, Chairman and Managing Director of Eastern Media Limited, attended the event as the chief guest. During his address to the students and faculty, Pattnaik emphasized the importance of foundational values in both professional and personal life. He encouraged the attendees to remain committed to a set of guiding principles, which he categorized as five 'Ms' and five 'Ns,' focusing on elements such as heritage, mother tongue, and professional integrity.

The event served as a platform for aspiring cost and management accountants to engage with industry leaders regarding the future of the commerce sector in India.
