911 centers receive 2.7 million calls in July

According to the Saudi Gazette, the unified emergency number 911 received more than 2.73 million calls across the Kingdom during the month of July 2026. Data released by the National Center for Security Operations indicates that the Unified Security Operations Centers managed a total of 2,733,359 calls, facilitating emergency reports and coordinating responses with relevant security and service authorities.

Regional data shows that the Riyadh region recorded the highest volume of emergency communications, with 1,129,908 calls. The Makkah region followed with 847,929 calls, while the Eastern Province reported 514,984. The Madinah region accounted for 240,538 calls during the same period. These figures reflect the ongoing operational demand on the Kingdom's centralized emergency response infrastructure.

The National Center for Security Operations maintains that these centers operate on a 24-hour basis, utilizing advanced automated systems to manage incoming traffic. The service employs specialized, multilingual personnel to ensure that emergency reports are processed efficiently and that coordination with field responders remains rapid and effective across the various provinces.
