These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NoorNews (https://news.noorapp.app). By visiting or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Our content & how it's produced

NoorNewsaggregates and fact-checks news drawn from third-party sources — wire services and regional, national, and international outlets — with clear attribution to the original publisher on every story ("According to X…", plus an "Original report" link). We independently cross-check and score each story before publishing.

The Truth Score (0–100) shown on every story is our own editorial assessment of how well-corroborated a claim is at the time of publication — see About for the full methodology. It reflects our process, not a certification of absolute truth or a guarantee, and may be revised as new information emerges.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure, including scraping beyond normal reading/indexing use or automated abuse
• Impersonate NoorNews or another person, or misrepresent your identity
• Use the site to violate the rights of others

Community Debate & user content

Signed-in users may post agree/disagree votes and written arguments on debate topics ("User Content"). By posting, you grant NoorNews a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your User Content — including your Google display name and profile photo — publicly on the relevant page. Comment posting is rate-limited to prevent spam, and every comment is screened by an automated moderation system before it can appear; we may also review or remove content at our discretion.

You may not post content that:

• Contains hate speech or slurs
• Personally attacks, harasses, or doxxes (shares private contact information about) any individual
• Is deliberately false or misleading, presented as fact — misinformation
• Is spam, advertising, or gibberish
• Is otherwise illegal

Strong, blunt, or one-sided opinionon the debate topic itself is welcome — vigorous disagreement with a policy, country, or public figure's actions is expected in a debate. Disagreement is not the same as an attack. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Intellectual property

Our content — original article text, Truth Score analysis, video bulletins, graphics, and the site design — is © NoorNews. Please don't republish or rehost it without permission; link to us instead.

Source content — headlines, facts, and quotes attributed to and drawn from third-party outlets we cite — remains the property of those original publishers. We credit and link to the original report on every story.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is." While we cross-check every story against trusted sources before publishing, we did not create the underlying third-party reporting we cite and cannot guarantee its accuracy — the Truth Score is a good-faith editorial assessment, not a warranty. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external or linked websites.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoorNews is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site, and may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
