According to a report by Dharitri, a violent group clash occurred late Friday night in the Patikarpalli area under the jurisdiction of the Bargarh Town police station. The altercation reportedly began following a minor verbal dispute between two groups, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation involving weapons.

Local authorities were alerted after the situation turned violent, with reports indicating that participants utilized sharp objects, including knives and traditional blades, during the fight. At least eight individuals sustained injuries during the incident and were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Among the injured, two individuals are reportedly in critical condition.

Police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the clash. As of now, officials have not released the identities of those involved or confirmed if any arrests have been made in connection with the violence.
