China evacuates one million as Typhoon Dolphin makes landfall

According to the Saudi Gazette, Chinese authorities have initiated a massive evacuation effort, moving over one million people from their homes as a powerful tropical cyclone makes landfall on the country's east coast. The storm, described as the most significant of the year, has brought torrential rainfall and high-velocity winds to the region, prompting widespread alerts for potential flooding and landslides.

The impact of the weather system has been felt across several provinces, with the city of Shanghai and the Zhejiang province being among the most affected areas.
