Deputy Minister discusses regional developments, bilateral ties with Chinese, Russian ambassadors

Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed Elkhereiji, held separate high-level meetings in Riyadh with the ambassadors of China and Russia to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments. According to the Saudi Gazette, the discussions focused on strengthening ties and reviewing ongoing efforts regarding international and regional affairs.

During his meeting with China’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Zhang Hua, Elkhereiji reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and explored avenues for further cooperation. The two officials also exchanged views on regional and international developments, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination between the two nations.

In a separate session, Elkhereiji met with Russia’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sergei Kozlov. The two diplomats discussed ways to enhance the strategic partnership between Riyadh and Moscow to serve their shared interests. The meetings reflect Saudi Arabia's ongoing diplomatic engagement with major global powers as the Kingdom continues to navigate a complex regional landscape.
