According to reports from Dainik Bhaskar, several Indian states are experiencing severe weather-related incidents as the monsoon season begins its withdrawal. In the Agar-Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh, a vehicle was swept away by a flooded stream on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of seven members of a single family from Odisha. The victims were reportedly traveling from the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain toward the Maa Baglamukhi Temple in Nalkheda when the incident occurred.

In the Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh, four people lost their lives due to lightning strikes in separate incidents on Saturday, with three others sustaining injuries. Local authorities have issued weather alerts for several districts across the state, including Raipur, Durg, Bemetara, Balod, Kabirdham, Rajnandgaon, and Bijapur, citing continued risks of heavy rain and lightning.

Meanwhile, in Uttarakhand, the Rudraprayag administration has temporarily suspended travel on the Kedarnath trekking route near Chirbasa. Persistent landslides and falling debris from the mountains have prompted officials to halt movement for the safety of pilgrims. The administration stated that the route will remain closed until at least 9:00 AM, at which point officials will assess the conditions to determine if it is safe to resume the pilgrimage.
