According to reports from Dainik Bhaskar, multiple states across India are facing severe flood-like conditions following intense monsoon rainfall. Over 15 cities across Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have been significantly impacted, with heavy downpours reported since Sunday night. In Bhopal, authorities have ordered the closure of schools from nursery through 12th grade as a precautionary measure to ensure student safety amid the inclement weather.

The situation remains critical in other regions as well. In Chhattisgarh’s Mungeli district, heavy rains led to flooding in Pasraha Para village, leaving approximately 200 residents stranded for 24 hours. A coordinated rescue operation led by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) utilized boats over a 10-hour period to successfully relocate the residents to temporary relief camps.

Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh, the districts of Farrukhabad and Bijnor are grappling with the aftermath of rising water levels, with reports indicating that approximately 40 villages have been affected. Many residents have been forced to evacuate their homes, with some seeking shelter in makeshift tents along highways. Local authorities continue to monitor the situation as weather departments maintain alerts for further rainfall across the affected states.
