GCC Secretary General Meets Official from Institute of International Affairs

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi held a formal meeting on Monday in Riyadh with Dr. Maria Luisa, the Head of the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa Program at the Institute of International Affairs. According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and exchanging perspectives on regional developments.

The meeting serves as part of the GCC's ongoing diplomatic outreach to international research institutions and policy centers. Such engagements are intended to foster a deeper understanding of the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East and Africa, particularly regarding security, economic stability, and regional integration efforts.

During the session, Albudaiwi and Dr. Luisa reviewed the current activities of the Institute of International Affairs and explored potential avenues for collaboration between the GCC Secretariat and the program.
