Huawei MatePad Pro 12 (2026) goes global

According to GSMArena, Huawei has officially launched its MatePad Pro 12 (2026) for the global market during a major product event held in Munich. The tablet, which was initially introduced to the Chinese market last month, is part of a broader rollout that also included the company's latest wearable devices and the global debut of the nova16s smartphone series.

The MatePad Pro 12 (2026) features a 12-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3,036 × 1,952 pixels. The device supports a 144Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Huawei is also providing a PaperMatte Display variant, which incorporates an anti-glare coating designed to reduce reflections and improve visibility in various lighting conditions.

In addition to the tablet hardware, Huawei announced the availability of optional accessories, including the M-Pencil Pro stylus, to complement the device's creative and productivity capabilities. The global release marks a significant step in Huawei's strategy to maintain its presence in the premium tablet segment despite ongoing international market challenges.
