Israeli occupation forces continue field operations, attacks in southern Lebanon

According to reports from the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) via KUNA, Israeli military forces have continued field operations and targeted strikes across several locations in southern Lebanon. The activity, reported on Wednesday, included troop movements near the western outskirts of the border town of Mays Al-Jabal, where artillery shelling and heavy machine-gun fire were observed, resulting in a fire at a residential site.

Further operations were reported in the town of Al-Khiam, where military forces reportedly conducted demolition operations and engaged the area with tank fire. Similar demolition activity was noted in the town of Hadatha. These ground-level operations were accompanied by aerial activity, with reports indicating that Israeli warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes after midnight. The strikes targeted the Ali Al-Taher hill near Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, as well as areas near Douha Kafr Rumman and Deir Siriane.

The ongoing military maneuvers highlight the persistent volatility along the Lebanon-Israel border.
