Jio eyes global markets after 10 years

According to the Economic Times, Jio Platforms is preparing to expand its digital services and technology solutions into global markets. The announcement was made by Akash Ambani, Managing Director of Jio Platforms and Chairman of Reliance Jio, in a letter to employees marking the company's tenth anniversary.

Ambani stated that the organization has successfully established the foundation of Digital India, citing the rapid national transition to 5G and the widespread connectivity of homes and businesses. He emphasized that Jio has evolved beyond its origins as a traditional telecom provider, now focusing on the development of original technology in areas such as digital products, enterprise solutions, and artificial intelligence.

The strategic shift aims to leverage the scale of Jio's domestic success to position India as a global creator of technology. By exporting these made-in-India solutions, the company intends to make its technological benefits accessible to international markets, marking a significant new phase in its corporate growth strategy.
