King Salman, Crown Prince congratulate Pakistan on Independence Day

According to the Saudi Gazette, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a formal cable of congratulations to the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, in observance of the nation's Independence Day. In his message, the King expressed his sincere well-wishes for the President’s continued health and happiness, while extending his hopes for the ongoing progress and prosperity of the Pakistani government and its citizens.

The communication highlighted the long-standing and distinguished bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also issued a separate cable of congratulations to President Zardari on the occasion.
