Kuwait Police Arrest 2 Asian Expats for Manufacturing Fake Official Stamps in Hawally

According to the Arab Times Kuwait, the General Department of Criminal Investigation in Kuwait has successfully apprehended two expatriate residents in the Hawally governorate. The individuals, both of Asian nationality, were reportedly operating a clandestine facility dedicated to the illegal manufacturing of official government stamps.

Authorities initiated the operation following intelligence reports regarding the illicit activity. Upon raiding the makeshift workshop, police discovered various tools and materials used to forge official documents and seals. The suspects are currently in custody and are expected to face legal proceedings under Kuwaiti law, which strictly prohibits the forgery of official state instruments.

This arrest is part of an ongoing effort by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior to curb document fraud and illegal residency-related activities within the country.
