ममता बनर्जी को बागी गुट का खुला ऑफर:ऋतब्रत बनर्जी बोले- नंदीग्राम से उतरें पूर्व CM, निर्दलीय भी लड़ेंगी तो सपोर्ट करेंगे

According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar, Ritabrata Banerjee, leader of a rebel political faction in West Bengal, has extended an open offer to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding the upcoming assembly by-elections. The by-elections for the Nandigram and Rejinagar seats are scheduled for October 6. Banerjee stated that if the Chief Minister chooses to contest these seats, his faction would withdraw its own candidates to support her, expressing a desire for her return to the legislative assembly.

The offer carries significant political weight given the history of the Nandigram constituency, where Mamata Banerjee faced a high-profile defeat during the 2021 West Bengal assembly elections. Ritabrata Banerjee suggested that a victory in Nandigram would be a symbolic and strategic move for the Chief Minister. As of now, major political parties including the BJP and the TMC have yet to officially announce their candidates for these specific seats.

Meanwhile, the Congress party has already moved forward with its electoral preparations. On September 11, the party announced Mohammad Abdullahil Kaf as its candidate for the Rejinagar seat and Milan Pradhan for the Nandigram constituency. The political landscape remains fluid as parties finalize their strategies ahead of the October deadline, with this latest offer adding a new layer of complexity to the local electoral dynamics.
