MP में भारी बारिश, भोपाल में सभी स्कूल बंद:यूपी में गंगा-यमुना समेत 10 नदियां उफान पर, बिहार के 12 जिलों में अलर्ट

According to reports from Dainik Bhaskar, several Indian states are experiencing a significant surge in monsoon activity, leading to widespread rainfall and localized flooding. Heavy precipitation over the past 24 hours has prompted authorities in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, to order the closure of all schools as a precautionary measure. The regional weather patterns are being attributed to an active low-pressure area and a monsoon trough passing through Gwalior, which have brought intense rainfall to at least 11 districts in the state.

The impact of the monsoon is being felt across a broad geographic area, including Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. In Uttar Pradesh, reports indicate that over 30 cities, including Lucknow and Noida, have seen significant rainfall, with major river systems such as the Ganga and Yamuna currently in spate. Local authorities in Farrukhabad have reported that approximately 40 villages are currently affected by rising water levels.

Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, districts including Jhalawar, Kota, and Bundi have recorded heavy rainfall, with Jhalawar receiving significant accumulation. To manage the rising water levels, authorities have opened the gates of the Kalisindh and Nonera-Aibra dams. In Bihar, the meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for 12 districts as the state continues to experience active monsoon conditions. Residents in these regions are advised to remain cautious as weather agencies continue to monitor the situation for further developments.
