OIC Condemns Al-Aqsa Mosque Storming and Calls for International Action

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a formal statement strongly condemning the recent entry of Israeli government officials into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the OIC reported that these officials were accompanied by more than 3,000 settlers and were provided protection by Israeli security forces during the event.

In its statement, the OIC characterized the incident as a provocation and a violation of the sanctity of the site, which is considered one of the holiest locations in Islam. The organization called for immediate international intervention to address what it described as a systematic attempt to alter the status quo at the compound.
