According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), local authorities in China's Fujian Province have initiated large-scale emergency measures as torrential rains continue to impact the region. Over 599,000 residents have been evacuated from high-risk areas to ensure public safety as the weather system persists.

The evacuations follow several days of heavy rainfall that have lashed the eastern coastal province, raising concerns regarding potential flooding and landslides. Regional emergency management bureaus have been deployed to coordinate the movement of citizens and provide temporary shelter for those displaced by the severe weather conditions.

Fujian Province, located along China's southeastern coast, is frequently subject to extreme weather patterns during the late summer and early autumn months.
