According to reports from Public TV, a tragic double suicide incident has occurred in Dharwad, Karnataka, involving two young individuals. The incident took place at a residential PG facility in Daneshwari Nagar, where 21-year-old Tarun Sagar Kurukuri was found to have died by suicide.

Local authorities were informed that the young man had taken his own life following the death of his partner, 20-year-old Megha Gubannavar. According to the report, Megha had previously died by suicide on August 12 after consuming pesticide, reportedly following a disagreement regarding her use of a mobile phone. Tarun, who worked at a local watch shop, was from Kotabagi village in the Dharwad taluk.

Local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding both deaths. The incident has drawn attention to the personal struggles faced by the youth in the region, highlighting the need for increased awareness regarding mental health and support systems for those in distress.
