Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra move a step closer to launch as they get Bluetooth certified

According to a report from GSMArena, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series has moved closer to a commercial release following its appearance in the Bluetooth SIG certification database. This regulatory filing is a common precursor to the launch of new consumer electronics, confirming that the hardware has met the necessary connectivity standards for market entry.

The certification documentation identifies two distinct models in the new lineup: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The database entries reveal five separate model variations for the S12+ and three for the S12 Ultra, suggesting that Samsung intends to offer both tablets in a variety of configurations, including options for cellular connectivity alongside standard Wi-Fi-only versions.

Samsung previously confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S12 series is scheduled for an unveiling in the second half of 2026. While the company has yet to announce a specific launch date or pricing details, the completion of Bluetooth certification indicates that the devices are in the final stages of pre-production. Industry analysts expect these tablets to serve as the flagship additions to Samsung's mobile computing portfolio for the latter half of the year.
