Saudi FM holds talks with Qatar, Egypt on Gulf, Red Sea security

According to the Saudi Gazette, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan conducted separate telephone conversations with his counterparts from Qatar and Egypt to address regional security concerns. The discussions focused on coordinating efforts to maintain de-escalation and ensure the safety of critical maritime corridors in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea.

During the calls with Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, the officials reviewed the latest regional developments. The dialogue emphasized the necessity of advancing diplomatic solutions to preserve the stability of the region amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions.

These diplomatic engagements come as regional powers seek to secure maritime trade routes, which have faced increased scrutiny due to broader regional instability.
