He argued that the DMK relies on a 'Mr. Clean' image that ignores historical corruption cases, which he claims the younger generation is unaware of. According to the report, Vijay emphasized that the electoral contest is primarily a direct face-off between his party, the TVK, and the DMK.

When questioned about his frequent criticism of DMK leader M.K. Stalin, Vijay maintained a personal tone, referring to the leader as his 'uncle' while continuing to challenge the party's governance. The event highlights the intensifying political climate in Tamil Nadu as new political entrants like Vijay seek to challenge the established dominance of the DMK in the state's electoral landscape.
