vivo T5 5G unveiled: Dimensity 7500 Turbo SoC, 144Hz curved display, and 7,050 mAh battery

According to GSMArena, vivo has officially unveiled the T5 5G, marking the latest expansion of its T5 series. The device, which follows the release of the T5 4G earlier this year, is positioned by the manufacturer as a performance-oriented smartphone aimed at younger consumers. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and features up to 12GB of RAM alongside 256GB of internal storage.

The T5 5G runs on OriginOS 6, which is based on the Android 16 operating system. In a move to address long-term device support, vivo has committed to providing three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the handset. The device is built with a 6.83-inch curved display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, intended to provide a premium visual experience.

This launch continues vivo's strategy of segmenting its T-series to offer varying levels of connectivity and performance.
