Environment authority conducts field surveys of coastal ecosystems in Masirah

The Environment Authority in Oman, through its dedicated center in the Wilayat of Masirah, has officially launched a series of field surveys focused on the coastal ecosystems of the island. These surveys are part of a broader national initiative to monitor and preserve the biodiversity of the South A’Sharqiyah Governorate’s unique maritime environments.

According to the Times of Oman, the field teams are tasked with documenting the current state of coastal habitats, including the health of local flora and fauna.
