Heavy rain to lash Odisha for two more days till Sept 13; several districts on alert

According to OTV, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for the state of Odisha, warning of continued heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next two days. The IMD has specifically placed the districts of Nabarangpur, Koraput, and Malkangiri under an orange warning, signaling the potential for significant precipitation that may impact local infrastructure and daily life. Additionally, a yellow warning has been issued for 11 other districts across the state, including Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, and Nayagarh, as weather conditions remain volatile.
