Kuwait Airways receives its sixth Airbus A330-900neo ‘Qaruh’

According to the Arab Times Kuwait, Kuwait Airways has officially taken delivery of its sixth Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. The new addition to the national carrier's fleet has been named 'Qaruh,' continuing the airline's tradition of naming its aircraft after significant Kuwaiti islands and landmarks.

This delivery is part of a broader, long-term fleet modernization and purchase agreement between Kuwait Airways and the European aerospace manufacturer, Airbus. The A330-900neo is designed to offer improved fuel efficiency and reduced operational costs, aligning with the airline's strategy to enhance its service capabilities and expand its regional and international route network.

The integration of the 'Qaruh' aircraft into active service is expected to bolster the airline's capacity as it continues to recover and grow in the post-pandemic aviation market. Kuwait Airways has been steadily upgrading its fleet with newer, more sustainable models to meet increasing passenger demand and maintain competitive standards in the Gulf aviation sector.
