Kuwait Intensifies Hazardous Chemical Checks Across Governorates

According to the Arab Times Kuwait, the General Environment Authority (GEA) has launched a comprehensive inspection campaign focused on chemical storage facilities across Kuwait’s governorates. The initiative began with targeted checks in the Al-Ardiya industrial area, where inspectors are assessing compliance with national safety and environmental storage standards.

The campaign is part of a broader effort by Kuwaiti authorities to mitigate risks associated with the handling and storage of hazardous materials. Officials are verifying that facilities possess the necessary permits, adhere to fire safety protocols, and maintain proper ventilation and containment systems to prevent accidental leaks or environmental contamination.
