Kuwaiti humanitarian giving extends beyond relief to build lasting hope

According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Kuwaiti humanitarian organizations are continuing to expand their international relief efforts, focusing on sustainable development alongside urgent aid. The initiatives, carried out under the 'Kuwait by Your Side' campaign, target vulnerable communities across several regions, including Zanzibar, Yemen, Gaza, Chad, Palestine, and India.

The projects are designed to address long-term needs in education, healthcare, and water infrastructure. In Zanzibar, Tanzania, the Nama Charity of the Social Reform Society has established several key facilities, including the KAF and Nama Educational Complex, orphanages, and local schools. These efforts aim to provide more than just immediate relief, seeking to build safer and more stable environments for local populations.

Nama Charity Deputy CEO Abdulaziz Al-Kandari stated that the association’s strategy prioritizes sustainable impact. By integrating educational support with food distribution and community development, the organization seeks to create lasting pathways for growth in the regions it serves. These humanitarian projects reflect Kuwait’s broader policy of providing aid to countries in need through both state-led directives and established charitable institutions.
