Majed Abu Zahra, head of the Jeddah Astronomy Society, explained that the phenomenon is best viewed from locations with minimal light pollution, away from the glow of major urban centers. Observers looking toward the sky will be seeing an edge-on view of our galaxy, with the current season providing a particularly clear perspective of the dense galactic core.
