Oman signs Participation Contract for Expo 2030 Riyadh

The Sultanate of Oman has officially confirmed its participation in Expo 2030, which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from October 1, 2030, to March 31, 2031. According to the Saudi Gazette, the formal Participation Contract was signed by Sayyid Saeed Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture and Commissioner General of the Oman Pavilion, and Talal Al-Marri, Chief Executive Officer of Expo 2030 Riyadh.

The signing ceremony, held at the Expo site in Riyadh, marks a significant step in the Sultanate's preparations for the global event. Following the formalization of the agreement, officials conducted a site tour to review the progress of ongoing development works, including an inspection of the specific plot designated for the Omani pavilion. This milestone allows Oman to move forward with the design and development phases of its exhibition space.

Expo 2030 is a major component of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, aimed at showcasing international innovation and cultural exchange. By securing its participation, Oman joins a growing list of nations committed to the event, which is expected to draw millions of visitors and serve as a platform for global cooperation.
