According to a report by Asianet News, a formal complaint has been filed following an alleged assault on the driver and family of Member of Parliament P.V. Abdul Wahab. The incident reportedly occurred on the 13th of last month near Eriyad, Kerala, around 5:00 PM.

Reports indicate that the MP's driver, Siddique, was traveling in a vehicle accompanied by his son, Amal Shariq, his wife, and his three-year-old grandchild. According to the complaint, a group of four individuals intercepted the vehicle and engaged in a physical altercation with the occupants following a dispute over parking.

Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter. Police have confirmed that one suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the assault. The incident has drawn attention due to the involvement of the MP's staff, and officials are currently working to identify the remaining individuals involved in the altercation.
