Security has been a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia for three centuries, Al-Tuwaiyan says

According to the Saudi Gazette, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Tuwaiyan, an adviser at the Office of the Minister of Interior, emphasized the historical significance of security as a pillar of Saudi Arabia's development. Speaking at the Security and History Dialogue 2026 conference in Riyadh on Sunday, Al-Tuwaiyan stated that the Kingdom’s stability has been a foundational element for its growth over the past three centuries.

Al-Tuwaiyan noted that the security approach in the Kingdom is not a circumstantial policy but a long-standing tradition maintained by Saudi leadership across generations. He specifically highlighted the continuity of this approach from the country's founding through the current leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

The conference, which aims to explore the intersection of national security, historical legacy, and modern development, was held under the patronage of the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif. The event serves as a platform to discuss how the Kingdom's internal stability has facilitated its ongoing national transformation projects and long-term development goals.
