Tabuk Emir chairs first Regional Council session

According to the Saudi Gazette, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of Tabuk and Chairman of the Regional Council, presided over the opening session of the council’s first term for the 1448–1449 fiscal year on Tuesday. The meeting marked the official commencement of the council's activities for the new fiscal period.

During the opening remarks, Prince Fahd expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. This follows the issuance of a royal order that confirmed the appointment of members to regional councils across the Kingdom for their eighth term. Prince Fahd emphasized that these appointments underscore the Saudi leadership's commitment to empowering regional councils to drive local development and support the nation's broader comprehensive growth objectives.

Prince Fahd extended his congratulations to the newly appointed members, expressing his confidence in their ability to fulfill their mandates.
