According to Asomiya Pratidin, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed its first chargesheet in the NEET UG paper leak case at the Rouse Avenue Court in New Delhi. The agency’s Economic Offences Wing has formally named 13 individuals as accused in the ongoing investigation into the irregularities surrounding the medical entrance examination.

The individuals named in the chargesheet include Yash Yadav, Mangilal Bival, Dinesh Bival, Vikas Bival, Shubham Khairnar, Dhananjay Lokhande, Prahlad Kulkarni, Tejas Harshad Kumar, Dr. Manoj Shirure, Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar, Manisha Waghmare, Manisha Mandhare, and Manisha Sanjay Hawaldar. All 13 suspects are currently being held in judicial custody as the legal proceedings continue.

Preliminary details from the investigation suggest a chain of involvement in the distribution of the leaked question papers. The report indicates that the primary accused, Mangilal Bival, allegedly coordinated with Shubham Khairnar to secure the paper for his son, Vikas Bival. Khairnar reportedly obtained the materials from Yash Yadav, who is also among those charged in the case. The filing of this chargesheet marks a significant step in the federal investigation into the examination breach, which has drawn widespread national attention due to its impact on medical aspirants across India.
