According to Polimer News, the Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party has scheduled its second consultative meeting with alliance partners for September 9. This initiative follows a previous gathering held on July 1 in Kovalam, which was chaired by party leader Vijay, though representatives from Left parties did not attend that session.

To ensure broader participation in the upcoming discussions, a delegation of TVK ministers—including Bussy Anand, Adhav Arjuna, Nirmal Kumar, and Rajmohan—has been tasked with personally inviting the state secretaries of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)). These meetings are part of the party's ongoing efforts to consolidate its alliance structure ahead of future electoral challenges.

The TVK leadership has indicated that the official name of the alliance is expected to be finalized during this upcoming meeting. The outreach to Left-leaning parties marks a significant step in the party's strategy to expand its coalition, as it seeks to formalize partnerships with groups that have previously expressed support for its political objectives.
