According to a report by TV9 Telugu, the Telangana state education department has finalized the schedule for the upcoming Dasara festival holidays for all government and private schools across the region. Students are set to receive a 13-day break, with the holiday period officially commencing on October 10 and continuing through October 22.

The announcement follows the conclusion of the Summative Assessment-1 (SA-1) examinations, which are scheduled to be held from October 1 to October 9. The academic calendar adjustment is intended to allow students and staff to observe the festival, which is one of the most significant cultural events in the state.

School administrators are expected to ensure that all internal assessments are completed within the designated window prior to the start of the break. Parents and students are advised to coordinate with their respective institutions for any specific updates regarding the reopening dates following the holiday period.
