According to Asianet News, police in Guruvayur have arrested a native of Kasaragod in connection with a major financial fraud case. The suspect is accused of swindling 22 lakh rupees from a resident of Thamarayur under the false pretense of procuring three Toyota Innova vehicles from Delhi at a significantly discounted price.

The investigation was initiated following a formal complaint filed by the victim. Authorities report that the accused had been evading law enforcement since the complaint was lodged. Following a targeted search operation, police successfully apprehended the individual in Kasaragod and brought him into custody for further questioning.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding fraudulent schemes involving the sale of vehicles from other states at seemingly bargain prices. The Guruvayur police are currently conducting a detailed interrogation to determine if the suspect has been involved in similar deceptive practices elsewhere.
