According to Kanak News, a fatal road accident in the Badi Pahadi area of Patna, Bihar, has triggered significant civil unrest. The incident occurred when a speeding bus reportedly lost control and struck a local youth, resulting in his immediate death at the scene.

Following the fatality, local residents gathered in protest, expressing their anger by setting the bus on fire. The situation escalated quickly as protesters reportedly clashed with law enforcement, leading to stone-pelting and the burning of multiple police vehicles, including three jeeps and several motorcycles. Reports also indicate that a local police station was targeted by the crowd.

In addition to the property damage, allegations have surfaced that protesters forced police to retreat and assaulted media personnel present at the scene, reportedly seizing identification cards and personal belongings. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are currently working to restore order in the area.
