Google Keep for Android rolls out ‘Find in note’ search

Google has begun rolling out a new 'Find in note' search feature for its Keep application on Android devices. This update aims to improve user navigation within long-form notes, allowing individuals to quickly locate specific text strings rather than scrolling through entire documents manually.

According to 9to5Google, this enhancement follows a period of relative quiet for the note-taking platform, which saw its last major structural change earlier this year during the migration of reminders to the Google Tasks service. The addition of in-note search is seen as a functional improvement for power users who utilize Keep for extensive lists, research, or journaling.

The feature is currently being distributed via an app update on the Google Play Store. While Google has not issued a formal press release regarding the rollout, users are expected to see the search icon appear within the note interface as the update propagates across different regions and device configurations over the coming days.
