According to reports from 10TV, Hyderabad traffic police have conducted a targeted special enforcement drive aimed at improving road safety and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations. The operation resulted in the registration of 1,339 cases against motorists for various violations across the city.

The enforcement campaign focused heavily on two primary areas of concern for local authorities. Officials reported that 1,005 cases were filed against drivers for blocking 'free left' lanes, a common issue that contributes significantly to traffic congestion at major intersections. Additionally, 334 cases were registered regarding incidents of minor driving, highlighting ongoing efforts to curb the operation of vehicles by individuals under the legal age.

These special drives are part of a broader initiative by the Hyderabad traffic department to enforce stricter adherence to road rules and reduce accidents. Authorities have indicated that such operations will continue periodically to deter repeat offenders and maintain order on the city's busy thoroughfares. Motorists are being urged to strictly follow lane discipline and ensure that only licensed individuals operate motor vehicles to avoid legal penalties.
