According to a report from the regional outlet Pudhari, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Jalgaon has taken a junior assistant from the Bodwad Panchayat Samiti into custody following a bribery investigation. The official was reportedly apprehended while allegedly accepting an illicit payment, triggering a formal case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Local authorities have indicated that the operation was conducted following a complaint filed against the official regarding the processing of administrative tasks within the Panchayat Samiti. The ACB team set a trap based on the complainant's information, leading to the arrest of the accused at the scene.
