According to NTV Telugu, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has initiated an investigation into alleged irregularities surrounding the 14th Preliminary Examination conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). The federal agency reportedly registered an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) last week, acting upon an initial First Information Report (FIR) previously filed by the state’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The move follows a period of sustained protests and public outcry from candidates who appeared for the JPSC and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) examinations. These students have raised concerns regarding the integrity of the recruitment process, prompting state-level authorities to engage in discussions with the affected groups.
