ಮೆಟ್ರಿಕ್ ನಂತರದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಾತಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನ

According to a notification from the Karnataka Minorities Welfare Department, the government has officially opened the application process for post-matriculation student hostels for the 2026-27 academic year in Bengaluru. The program is designed to provide housing support for students from various minority communities, including Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, and Parsi backgrounds.

Under the current guidelines, 75 percent of the available hostel seats are reserved for students from these minority communities, while the remaining 25 percent are allocated to students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and other backward classes. This initiative aims to facilitate access to education by providing affordable accommodation for students pursuing post-matriculation studies in the city.

Eligible students are required to submit their applications online through the official state portal at shp.karnataka.gov.in. The deadline for submitting applications has been set for September 30.
