This recurring issue has been a point of frustration for the community, who frequently call for increased connectivity during major holidays.

While railway authorities often manage seasonal demand through various scheduling adjustments, the absence of specific 'Onam Specials' from Mumbai remains a notable gap in the current transport planning. The community continues to urge the Ministry of Railways to consider the high volume of migrant workers and families traveling from the financial capital to Kerala during the harvest festival.
